Our goal is to educate all children that come our way. In so doing we expect that they become good and productive citizens tomorrow.
Open doors
Today we do not only attend to orphans but we have opened our doors to children in Barnersville and the surrounding area.
The Calvery Mission
Rev. Alexander Stemn, the visionary who opened the Calvery Mission in 1992, along with able staff are working hard to improve the educational, skill training and facility at the orphanage. Before the Calvery Orphanage Mission had only orphans to attend to but today the mission has opened her doors to a good number of children in Barnersville and its environs.
We are pleased to announce that the Mission school has reached the level of a complete High School, providing even better education to the youth at Barnersville.
Help us improve the infrastructure
In the light of an expanding number of children using the school, we are asking national and international donors to enable us to improve the Mission's infrastructure, renovation of buildings, completion of unfinished structures and the construction of a library.
Vocational skills training such as computer, agriculture, tailoring, soap making, hairdressing also need to be enhanced and established where they are not yet available.
